A small delegation from Ministry of Education led by Dato’ Haji Adzman Bin Talib, Deputy Director- General (School Operation Sector) at Ministry of Education, visited Keningau Vocational College on 5 February 2021. Haji Azman Bin Haji Adnan, the Director of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) at Ministry of Education, as well as Datuk Dr. Mistirine Radin, the Director of Sabah Education Department were present too. Mr. Johari @ Jaibin Bin Sabin, the college director, along with a small team of teachers, had carefully planned a welcoming ceremony with a quick tour for the delegates in line with the current standard operating procedure.

The delegates came to further discuss the plan to expand the college infrastructure in order to accommodate the school’s growing number of students. Dato’ Haji Adzman Bin Talib expressed his admiration on the school’s achievements in various fields which remained consistent even when schools were closed and travelling was restricted as a result of the ongoing pandemic. He attributed this to the dynamic teamwork of the school members as exemplified by their preparation in hosting him and his entourage on the abrupt visit during another phase of national lockdown. Mr. Johari @ Jaibet Bin Sabin lauded the school’s staff for their commitment and teamwork in organizing the welcoming ceremony within two days. He wished that the school would continue to uphold these traits as their main principles.
